News New HP ProCurve 6600 core switches have arrived 09-22-2009 > frontpage From now on new core-switches can be rented at Rent-A-Lan from the new 6600 series from HP ProCurve. These new routing switches from the datacenter-line from HP ProCurve have 24 gigabit copper ports and 4 10gigabit ports on-board (via SFP+).

Rent-A-Lan delivers large scale full-gigabit network 01-22-2009 > frontpage At the LAN-event 'The Reality VIII', which will be held from March 20th untill March 22nd 2009 in the 'Fries Congrescentrum'-hall in Drachten The Netherlands, Rent-A-Lan will deliver a large scale full gigabit network. The network, consisting of HP ProCurve 2824 and HP ProCurve 2510-24G client switches and HP ProCurve 9308 backbones, will have a total of about 800 gigabit ports and several 10gigabit connections. This will be the first time for the Dutch LAN-party scene gigabit is offered at this scale. During The Reality VIII each participant will receive his or her own gigabit port.
