IP lockdown
IP-lockdown is a function which HP ProCurve switches support. When using IP-lockdown, it is possible to setup certain limitations to which IP addresses users can use.
Rent-A-Lan can configure the network in a certain way that users only can use a IP-range which is designated to the switch. This can prevent possible IP-conflicts. |
